This is a drone bee. Harmless since it does not have a stinger. It is the male bee whose purpose is to mate with a queen. Once it does this it dies.
Looking into the hive. Kanken This is were the juvenile bees are busy looking after the brood, internationalist the queen is laying her larvae and the comb is filled with pollen, honey and larvae.
