Introduction to Beekeeping Taster Course

Are you thinking about keeping bees in the city, but don't know the first thing about beekeeping? This taster day will answer your questions and show you what you need to know about this fascinating pastime.

Our Beekeeping Taster One Day Course includes:

  • How much time, money and space does it require?
  • Where can I put a hive? What type of hive? What about neighbours?
  • What equipment will I need? Where do I get the bees?
  • How does a colony of bees work throughout the year? How do I handle bees?
  • How do bees make honey? How do I harvest the honey? and more.
